Prive Noir

Prive Noir by Riiffs is an intense, sophisticated, and deeply masculine fragrance. It belongs to the Woody-Aromatic family and is designed for the man who prefers a scent that is mysterious, dark, and “expensive” smelling.

It is widely considered a high-quality alternative to Dior Sauvage (Eau de Parfum/Parfum), but with a slightly creamier and more balsamic twist.

The Olfactory Pyramid

The fragrance is built on a contrast between sharp freshness and dark, smoky warmth.

• Top Notes: Bergamot, Mandarin Orange, and Elemi Resin.
  • The opening is bright and citrusy, but the Elemi resin immediately adds a hint of pine-like spice and depth.
• Heart Notes: Sandalwood and Virginia Cedar.
  • The heart is pure woodiness. It’s smooth, dry, and provides a very solid “backbone” to the fragrance.
• Base Notes: Olibanum (Frankincense), Tonka Bean, and Vanilla.
  • The dry-down is where the “Noir” (Black) element comes in. It is smoky, slightly sweet, and very warm, giving it a luxurious, lingering trail.
